I'm a secret train dork. A lot of people get frustrated when they have to wait for a train to cross the road, and I've always found it a little magical. I want to know where it's going and where it's been; one train has to hold millions of stories.
I had a photo-a-day site for a while, but then switched it to a portfolio site (BarefootPhotos.net). I've missed the photo-a-day community, so I'm back!

I love being able to hear trains in the distance. At my previous apartment and in my house now, the train tracks are just far enough away that I can hear them at night if I'm in bed awake but not loud enough to wake me. It's really cool. Unfortunately, the tracks also cross my path to work and the train schedule seems to be "run whenever I am really late to work!"
I too have a relationship with trains and am fascinated by the stories they carry. That's why I started a blog about it. http://everydaytrainblog.com
